Great idea. Gotta make me one. Always looking to save a little $$$ on shop materials. Thanks for coming up with this and thanks for sharing!!!
did you use the ends you cut off? They should have been the same angle as the plugs you cut. Figure out what length to cut them and make a mark on your jig. You will get twice as many plugs from the dowel that way.
